.Employ a professional. There are dozens of faux painting techniques and they each require considerable practice to achieve professional results. We are often hired to re-paint do-it-yourself efforts. Faux finishing and traditional painting takes skill and experience. A beautiful faux finish can dramatically set off a room. A “bad” faux job is obvious and will not express the room as you had hoped it would.

.We offer free consultation. With our knowledge of color, light and design, we can transform your interior into a work of art with paint.

.If traditional paint is your choice, don’t be afraid to put a large swatch of color on the wall. Look at it for a few days at different times of day. This will help give you a better feeling for the way color can change a room.

.Don’t be afraid of color! If white is what you want …no problem. If color is what you choose, look around your home for colors you tend to choose frequently. What colors are in your closet? Do you lean toward cool or warm colors? What feelings do you want the room to evoke? We have many different name brand color wheels to choose colors from. If we are doing a custom faux wall, we will create your unique color combinations.

.Preparation is critical. Professional painters know the importance of thorough prep work. It makes all the difference in the finished result. We use tape and caulking on trim and baseboards for a perfect finish. Sometimes our clients enjoy painting but would rather skip the prep work. We offer prep services for you do-it-yourselfers who still would like the overall professional finish. Ask us about pricing for this service.

.When choosing exterior colors, dark colors will fade quicker than lighter shades and may require additional maintenance to keep your paint looking beautiful.

.All paints are not created equal!!! We use the best quality paints from Diamond Vogel.
